The Sports Collection

The Sports Collection is made up of a number of avant-garde Royal Oak sports watches, originally introduced in 1972 and Royal Oak Offshore watches, launched in 1993, water-resistant up to 328 feet and made for extreme athletes.

Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore cases features over 250 consecutive operations including all types of handcrafted finish: polishing, brushing, lapping, beveling, circular graining, and sandblasting.

In the beginning presented only in steel, embodying an innovation in the world of high horology, the cases of the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore are currently made of a great range of metal alloys, some of which are the result of the latest research in the aeronautical and spatial industries.

Eight visible white gold screws hold the legendary octagonal bezel, the exclusive water-resistance washer and the case back and center. The winding crown and buttons on the Royal Oak Offshore are protected by a rubber protector and the metal bracelets are hand-assembled. Models in this collection are fitted with about 12 dissimilar calibers (some of them have complications) and include jeweled models for both ladies and gentlemen.

The Classic Collection

The technical and esthetic characteristics of all watches within the Classic collection come from the tradition of high horology, the area where Audemars Piguet has been playing a leading role since its foundation.

With the exception of a ladies' quartz model, all timepieces in the Classic collection are fitted with mechanical movements, including some of the most sophisticated timekeepers made by the celebrated manufacturer: chronographs, tourbillons, striking mechanisms, perpetual calendars and Grande Complication models. Many ultra-thin Audemars Piaget watches have these functions.

The cases of this collection are made according to the noblest watch-making traditions and embody the artistic talent of the watch company: round shape of Jules Audemars, and rectangular form of Edward Piguet.

Finally, while one Jules Audemars automatic chronograph has a steel case, all other timepieces in the Classic collection feature either gold or platinum cases.

The Contemporary Collection

The Contemporary collection from Audemars Piaget consists of world-class watches featuring a new ultra-modern design. Both the cases and the faces are particularly modern.
